About the Role
You will manage and improve privacy compliance operations, including data inventories, DSARs, data-processing agreements, retention schedules, subprocessors, breach readiness, and privacy training. You will partner with legal on data residency, transfer assessments, and retention decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of GRC experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies with direct responsibility for privacy compliance programs
- Experience contributing to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance certifications
- Experience with CCPA, GDPR, and emerging AI governance frameworks
- Project management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of technical security controls
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain the privacy program against ISO 27701, ISO 27018, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and US state laws
- Own privacy program operations including data inventory, DSAR fulfillment, DPAs, retention schedules, subprocessor onboarding, breach readiness, and privacy training
- Partner with legal to improve data residency, subprocessor, retention, DPIA, and transfer-impact programs
- Drive day-to-day privacy decisions
