About the Role
You will investigate complex cases involving phishing, blockchain exploits, hacks, terrorism finance, account takeovers, money laundering, SIM swaps, ransomware, and other illicit blockchain activity. You will conduct time-sensitive blockchain analysis, produce written reports, and deliver briefings to senior stakeholders. You will perform long-term research into categories of blockchain crime and translate that research into actionable intelligence. You will run sensitive investigations, identify and add sources of attribution, react quickly to movements of funds during incidents, participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority events, and support other teams on time-sensitive matters.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Preferably 3-5 years combined experience as an investigator or analyst
- Practical experience with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis is a plus
- Experience briefing senior leaders
- Experience structuring problems and prioritizing critical issues
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels
- Commitment to supporting teammates
Responsibilities

- Conduct time-sensitive blockchain analysis
- Produce written reports and deliver briefings to senior stakeholders
- Conduct long-term research into categories of blockchain crime and convert research into intelligence
- Conduct sensitive and complex investigations for partners
- Identify, build, and manage relationships with industry partners to add attribution sources
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to high-priority events
- React timely to movement of funds during ongoing investigations
- Support other teams on time-sensitive issues
