About the Role

Own cash accounting, accrual processes, and related accounting functions; review and reconcile cash transactions, reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger, coordinate with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams, support monthly accruals, and respond to external audit and due diligence requests.

Requirements

2–3 years of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Understanding of U.S. GAAP
Knowledge of cash accounting, accrual processes, internal controls, and accounting best practices
Ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of data
Experience with ERP systems
Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

Review cash transactions and ensure cash entries and accounts are complete
Perform monthly general-ledger-to-bank-statement cash reconciliations
Reconcile sub-ledgers or systems to the general ledger
Coordinate relationships with tax, treasury, fixed asset, and revenue accounting teams
Record complex accounting transactions accurately
Work with the Tax Team on monthly direct and indirect accruals
Support external audits and due diligence requests
