About the Role
You will develop and execute natural gas supply strategy, negotiate commercial agreements, manage nominations and balancing, and maintain relationships with producers, marketers, pipelines, and storage operators. You will monitor performance, report on supply and reliability, and optimize the portfolio for cost, resilience, and flexibility.
Requirements
- 8+ years of natural gas supply, marketing, scheduling, or midstream commercial experience
- Commercial network across Appalachian and broader US gas markets
- Experience negotiating NAESB and transportation agreements
- Knowledge of FERC Order 587, nomination cycles, EBB systems, and pipeline operations
- Experience with ETRM systems
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute natural gas supply strategy
- Originate, negotiate, and close supply, transportation, storage, and balancing agreements
- Build a diversified supply portfolio
- Negotiate NAESB contracts and transportation agreements
- Manage counterparty onboarding, credit, and KYC processes
- Own day-ahead and intraday nominations, scheduling, and balancing
- Coordinate with interstate pipelines and LDCs
- Develop contingency procedures for supply disruptions
- Manage counterparty performance and corrective actions
- Produce supply, cost, and reliability reporting
- Optimize the supply portfolio
