About the Role
You will architect and build end-to-end purchasing experiences across frontend interactions, product APIs, and backend integrations. You will improve checkout performance and conversion through experimentation, develop reusable monetization capabilities, lead initiatives through rollout, and provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
- Technical ownership at Staff level or beyond
- Experience building sophisticated web applications and backend APIs
- Experience taking customer-facing products from ambiguous ideas through production
- Knowledge of frontend performance, latency, interaction design, and API architecture
- Experimentation and A/B testing experience
- Cross-functional communication
Responsibilities
- Architect and build end-to-end purchasing experiences
- Improve checkout conversion, performance, and reliability
- Develop shared checkout components and monetization capabilities
- Partner on experiments and evaluate results
- Lead initiatives from exploration through ongoing operation
- Shape frontend and product API architecture
- Provide technical leadership, design reviews, and mentorship
