About the Role
You will build and maintain data-intensive applications and infrastructure that detect, triage, and support human review of high-severity harm. You will develop user interfaces, services, and pipelines; work with operators and investigators; contribute to technical strategy; and measure impact using data.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Software engineering foundation
- End-to-end systems ownership
- AI models

- Large-scale data pipeline or search and retrieval system experience

- High-severity harm engineering experience
- Operations and investigative workflow knowledge
- Secure handling of quarantined content and reporting to NCMEC is a bonus
- Ability to work with sensitive and egregious content
Responsibilities
- Prototype, build, and maintain intelligence systems that detect, triage, and enable human review of possible high-severity harm
- Design and deliver systems for operators and investigators
- Develop user interfaces, services, pipelines, and other required systems
- Work with Product Policy, Platform Integrity, Safety Systems, and Research partners
- Contribute to technical strategy for child-safety tools and systems
- Report impact using data
