About the Role
You will build web applications and data infrastructure that support scientific research workflows. You will partner with researchers and product designers to deliver internal tools, create scientific user interfaces, and develop pipelines from data ingestion through visualization. You will build and maintain agentic AI workflows and own scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience building products from scratch in fast-moving environments
- Experience designing and shipping user interfaces for scientific or technical workflows
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript across backend services and frontend applications
- Experience building scientific-data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, QC, and structured storage
- Ability to work with bench scientists and translate their workflows into software
- Knowledge of AI tools, agentic-system architecture, coding agents, and LLM-assisted development
- Experience building with LLMs, agents, or AI-assisted development tools
Responsibilities
- Partner with researchers and product designers to identify problems and ship solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain internal products using modern web technologies
- Build and improve data infrastructure for biological research workflows
- Design and ship scientific user interfaces for sample management, run configuration, acquisition feedback, and results review
- Build and maintain agentic AI workflows for data QC, interpretation, and report generation
- Own work from scoping and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
