Barter operates DeFi infrastructure on Ethereum through Barter Autopilot, which enables users to earn fees from swap activity while retaining custody of assets, and Barter Swap, a routing engine aggregating AMMs, RFQ desks, and off-chain liquidity. It also provides yield-as-a-service and router-as-a-service integrations for wallets, swap UIs, meta-aggregators, neobanks, and related Web3 products. Barter Lend is a fixed-rate peer-to-peer lending product listed as launching soon.

About the Role
Build and maintain fullstack onchain products, including interactive frontend applications, Solidity smart contracts, backend integrations, rapid prototyping, and reliable, well-tested production code.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience shipping fullstack features with onchain components
- Experience developing fullstack web applications and user-facing features with JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React and NextJS
- Strong understanding of Solidity and smart contract development for EVM-compatible blockchains
- Familiarity with frontend architecture, dApp development, security, performance, and usability best practices
- Familiarity with product and design lifecycles and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience writing well-tested and maintainable production code
- Nice to have: open source crypto project contributions and financial, high-reliability, or security systems experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Solidity
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highly interactive, responsive frontend applications for onchain products
- Design, develop, and optimize Solidity smart contracts for EVM-compatible blockchains
- Integrate onchain products with backend services, including data indexing
- Rapidly prototype new onchain experiences to gather early feedback
- Troubleshoot and debug complex fullstack issues involving performance, stability, reliability, and security
- Write high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers
