About the Role
You will handle fraud-related escalations from partners and customers. You will use SQL and Visa tools to investigate anomalous transactions, document findings, recommend actions for cards and accounts, report fraud, and escalate insights to Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
- 2+ years of experience in fraud prevention, payments risk, or financial crime investigation
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Background in identity risk, AML, payments fraud, or compliance analytics
- Ability to investigate transactions and user events and assess anomalous behavior
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for fraud-related escalations
- Create SQL data pulls for anomaly investigations and analyze fraudulent activity
- Document investigation findings, actions, and outcomes
- Use Visa tools to investigate transactions and report fraud
- Recommend actions for cards, accounts, and rule sets based on fraud analysis
- Monitor fraud trends, techniques, and technologies
- Escalate findings and inform rule changes with Product, Engineering, and Compliance
