About the Role

You will partner with Sales, Legal, Product, Credit Risk, and Capital Markets to model and structure credit deals. You will build portfolio projections, evaluate pricing and profitability, lead deal reviews, develop credit-finance tools, and communicate complex economics clearly to internal stakeholders and prospective partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
  • 6–8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, deal desk, pricing, credit product finance, or a related GTM finance function
  • Meaningful exposure to credit card or lending economics
  • Knowledge of interchange, finance charges, rewards funding, loss provisioning, cost of funds, vintage curves, charge-off rates, and revolving behavior
  • Financial modeling skills
  • Knowledge of credit risk modeling and capital markets concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Google Workspace proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Model the full economics of live credit deals, including interchange, finance charges, fees, rewards costs, funding costs, losses, network fees, and sponsor-bank revenue share
  • Build deal-level models covering the full life-of-portfolio economics
  • Partner with Credit Risk and Capital Markets to incorporate realistic loss assumptions, funding costs, and capital-efficiency considerations
  • Build foundational credit-product models with monthly projections for volumes, receivables, payment rates, and loss curves
  • Create scenario analyses supporting new sponsor-bank partnerships and capital providers
  • Model and stress-test multi-party revenue-share structures
  • Lead credit-deal review meetings and provide actionable recommendations to sales leadership
  • Develop pricing benchmarks, loss-curve templates, capital-cost calculators, vintage-performance models, and dashboards
  • Help Sales communicate credit economics to prospects
  • Monitor credit-product developments, regulations, and competitive dynamics
  • Support debit, prepaid, and other deal-desk work as needed
  • Experiment with AI to automate and improve credit-deal modeling and scenario analysis
