The protocol offers tokenized US Treasuries and investment products with daily yield distributions, while developing Ondo Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain optimized for real-world assets. Products include USDY for non-US investors and OUSG for qualified purchasers, supported by regulated custodians and audited smart contracts.

About the Role
You will serve as the primary builder and architect for an internal AI copilot platform used across teams. You will design and ship AI-powered systems that connect data, tools, and workflows; own backend services, data pipelines, and lightweight interfaces; and apply LLMs, retrieval, and orchestration to operational problems. You will rapidly prototype, incorporate user feedback, identify automation opportunities, and evolve the internal AI roadmap. Early work may include an internal copilot, workflow automation across Slack and Notion, and a reusable RAG platform.
Requirements
- 6–12+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack software engineer at a Senior or Staff IC level
- Experience designing scalable services, data pipelines, and integrations across internal tools
- Experience shipping production-grade software from architecture through deployment and monitoring
- Ability to apply LLM APIs, retrieval systems, and automation frameworks to real-world workflows
- Strong product judgment and ability to independently identify high-leverage problems and deliver pragmatic solutions
- Ability to operate as a founding IC with high autonomy and minimal oversight
- Experience building internal platforms, developer productivity tools, or business enablement systems
- Familiarity with AI experimentation and tooling such as Claude, OpenAI, Copilot, and agent frameworks
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Slack, Notion, CRM, finance tools, and data warehouses
- Background in regulated or security-conscious environments
- Experience scaling an internal tool from prototype to company-wide adoption
Responsibilities
- Architect and build internal AI-powered systems that connect company data, tools, and workflows
- Own solutions end-to-end, from backend services and data pipelines to lightweight user interfaces
- Apply LLMs, retrieval, and orchestration to operational problems
- Rapidly prototype and iterate based on user feedback while balancing speed and sound system design
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify high-leverage automation opportunities
- Define and evolve the internal AI roadmap as usage scales
- Ship an internal copilot that answers cross-functional questions and routes workflows
- Automate workflows between Slack, Notion, and internal services
- Build a RAG platform for other engineers to use
