About the Role
You will embed with customer engineering teams and own simulation workflows from model setup and calibration through optimization and interpretation. You will develop physics-based simulation tools in Python, validate experiments, optimize recipes, and feed customer-domain insights into research and product development.
Requirements
- Knowledge of numerical simulation of continuum systems
- Experience solving partial differential equations numerically
- Experience with mesh generation, solver tuning, and debugging numerical instabilities
- Python scientific computing skills
- Experience working directly with customer engineers
- Willingness to spend extended periods on-site in Taiwan
- Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
Responsibilities
- Own simulation workflows for customer engagements from setup and calibration through optimization and interpretation
- Run, debug, and modify physics-based simulations
- Work on-site with customer engineering teams to improve processes
- Build LLM-based simulation workflows for validation, parameter fitting, and recipe optimization
- Build and extend Python simulation tooling for job submission, parameter sweeps, output parsing, and integration
- Feed domain insights into research and product development
- Travel to and spend extended periods on-site in Taiwan
