About the Role
You will own an NPI hardware lab from day-to-day operations through becoming fully operational. You will lead technicians and qualification engineers, coordinate vendor and customer lab access, manage equipment logistics, schedule qualification programs, and run power oversubscription validation.
Requirements
- Experience operating a hardware lab, NPI program, or qualification facility
- Experience directly managing technicians and engineers
- Hands-on experience with liquid cooling and high-density power
- Experience hosting vendor or customer engineering teams
- Inventory and asset-management discipline
- Experience managing conflicting vendor sample schedules
- Experience with DLC and CDU commissioning, hyperscaler or OEM NPI, ITIL-grade lab operations, or facility setup is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end NPI lab operations
- Build and lead on-site data center technician and lab qualification engineer teams
- Schedule and deconflict hardware qualification programs
- Manage vendor and customer access, agreements, badging, escorts, and remote access
- Manage equipment receiving, inventory, rack-and-stack quality, RMAs, and lab infrastructure migration
- Coordinate CDU manifold connections and leak inspections
- Run power oversubscription and demand-management validation
