About the Role
You will own fire-protection engineering for assigned sites, including design review, field support, and AHJ coordination. You will review sprinkler, detection, and special-hazard designs against code and reference designs; support installation and acceptance testing; and resolve fire-protection RFIs and code questions.
Requirements
- Experience in fire-protection engineering on commercial or industrial projects
- Ability to review hydraulic calculations and detection layouts
- Experience running acceptance tests with AHJs
- Ability to research code questions using primary sources
- Fire-protection engineering degree or PE track
- NICET certification
- Experience with special-hazard systems
- Data center experience
Responsibilities
- Own fire-protection engineering for assigned sites
