About the Role
You will lead asset-control delivery for product changes, custody migrations, and new custody, market, and digital-asset products. You will assess operational impacts, design processes and controls, lead UAT and go-live readiness, resolve migration issues, improve operations, support audits, and deputise for the Asset Control Manager when needed.
Requirements
- Significant custody, asset servicing, settlement, and reconciliation experience in a regulated broker, bank, or investment platform
- Equity settlement, corporate actions, and multi-market share-dealing experience
- Experience working with project teams on product launches and business change
- Experience owning complex issues through closure
- Ability to challenge practices and influence stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Represent Asset Control in share dealing, crypto, and digital-asset projects
- Assess change impacts on reconciliations, settlements, corporate actions, tax, and client asset protection
- Design processes to meet product-change requirements
- Lead UAT and go-live readiness
- Update procedures and controls before go-live
- Act as the main Asset Control contact for product and change teams
- Own the Asset Control workstream for custody migration
- Maintain a migration issue log and lead root-cause analysis
- Agree permanent fixes with brokers, Operations, and Finance Systems
- Embed new processes and decommission legacy processes
- Identify and implement operational improvements
- Challenge manual, inefficient, and high-risk processes
- Support internal and external audits
- Deputise for the Asset Control Manager
- Coach analysts and document key controls
