About the Role
You will prepare complete US GAAP and IFRS financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, notes to accounts, and disclosures. You will manage statutory reporting compliance and complex technical accounting matters involving financial instruments and products. You will also support M&A accounting, business combinations, special projects, reporting-platform enhancements, and system implementations.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of relevant experience in technical accounting and financial reporting
- Big 4 experience focused on client advisory or technical accounting consulting is strongly preferred
- Strong financial services background and hands-on understanding of financial instruments and complex financial products
- Ability to independently prepare complete financial statements and notes to accounts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Prepare complete end-to-end US GAAP and IFRS financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, notes to accounts, and disclosures
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory accounting frameworks and technical standards
- Handle complex accounting treatments and technical disclosures for financial instruments and products
- Support M&A accounting activities, business combinations, and special accounting projects
- Assist with reporting platform enhancements and system implementation initiatives
