About the Role

You will handle daily accounting tasks including journal entries and month-end and year-end closings. You will manage accounting for securities and crypto assets, coordinate with auditors and tax advisors, implement process and tooling improvements, and help prepare financials and controls for IPO readiness.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of accounting experience
  • At least 3 years of finance experience
  • Experience with securities management is preferred
  • Experience responding to audits is preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in cryptocurrency accounting is welcome
  • Experience building back office functions in startups is welcome
  • Management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform journal entries and daily bookkeeping
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Account for securities and crypto assets
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Implement and improve accounting systems and processes
  • Drive operational efficiency through tooling and process improvement
  • Support IPO readiness and related financial controls
