About the Role

You will lead on-site automation, controls, and adapter-cell installation from mobilization through commissioning readiness. You will direct contractors and technical resources, manage installation risks and tradeoffs, verify quality through testing and checklists, resolve defects, lead field reviews, and document lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field
• At least 3 years of trade experience in electrical installation, automation installation, industrial automation, robotics, ASRS, or large-scale capital-equipment installation
• Site-level ownership of live installations
• Experience leading electrical, controls, commissioning, and third-party installation teams
• Ability to diagnose design, process, and execution issues
• Decision-making and accountability under pressure
• Communication with engineers, project managers, customers, vendors, contractors, and senior leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site automation, controls, and adapter-cell installation
• Drive safe, high-quality, on-schedule installation delivery
• Own cell readiness for commissioning handoff
• Direct multi-vendor and multi-discipline installation teams
• Make real-time field decisions
• Identify, escalate, and resolve installation risks
• Own field-change, rework, and resource-tradeoff impacts
• Drive contractor performance and accountability
• Verify installations through checklists and performance testing
• Resolve defects and complete commissioning documentation
• Capture and apply lessons learned
• Lead automation kickoff meetings, progress reviews, and recovery plans
