About the Role
You will regularly visit designated premium agencies to conduct cash audits, investigate discrepancies and incidents, and report shortcomings. You will train cashiers and agency staff on procedures, fraud awareness, and conduct requirements. You will support debt reimbursement follow-up, complete control-plan checks, contribute to risk mapping and analyses, conduct year-end cash inventories, and perform assigned administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Work authorization in Cameroon
- Fluency in French and good command of English
- 2+ years of university-level experience in Finance or Accounting
- Experience handling high cash volumes
- Knowledge of Google Sheets
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Travel regularly to designated premium agencies
- Conduct cash audits and report shortcomings in the agent network
- Investigate discrepancies, identify causes, and provide training to relevant agents
- Follow up on debt reimbursement after audits with relevant field operations teams
- Complete all controls in the control plan
- Contribute information on threats and vulnerabilities to the security risk map
- Contribute information to keep the operational risk map accurate and comprehensive
- Train cashiers on procedures related to their activities
- Increase fraud awareness among premium-agent staff and premium cash officers
- Investigate operational and other incidents at premium agencies and other agent types
- Conduct end-of-year cash inventories
- Participate in risk analyses for new premium agencies, projects, and agent prefinancing
- Ensure agency staff comply with the code of conduct and management instructions
- Perform assigned administrative tasks
