About the Role
You will serve as the on-site authority for critical data center infrastructure and escalations. You will manage site design risks and high-risk maintenance changes, audit colocation partners and providers, respond to incidents, and work with vendors and internal specialists to maintain reliability.
Requirements
- Experience operating or leading critical-facilities operations in a live data center
- Knowledge of critical infrastructure power and cooling systems
- Experience with change management for high-risk work
- Experience auditing and improving maintenance operations
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site subject-matter expert for data center critical infrastructure
- Manage site design limitations and risks
- Audit colocation partners and service providers on maintenance programs
- Own change management for high-risk maintenance activities
- Respond to on-site incidents and drive resolution
- Partner with colocation partners, vendors, and internal teams to maintain site reliability
