About the Role
You will produce stainless-steel and carbon-steel fabrications for nuclear-sector projects. You will interpret engineering drawings, prepare materials and weld configurations, follow workshop procedures, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will support process improvements, contribute to quality records, and work closely with welders, operatives, store personnel, and quality inspectors.
Requirements
- Experience producing stainless-steel and carbon-steel weld configurations and preparing materials.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, weld maps, and specifications.
- Experience working to processes, procedures, and specifications.
- Commitment to safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Produce high-integrity stainless-steel fabrications from engineering drawings.
- Prepare stainless-steel and carbon-steel materials and weld configurations.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and comply with legal requirements.
- Attend daily action briefs and understand daily risks and activities.
- Support improvements to fabrication and welding processes.
- Complete assigned workshop activities according to the workshop schedule.
- Contribute to internal NCRs and observations when requested.
- Work with welders, operatives, store personnel, and quality inspectors.
