About the Role
You will build and run a professional events function, owning the full events calendar and deciding which conferences to attend. You will plan and run hosted experiences, manage venue, production, merch, and logistics, and lead Morpho-owned conference concepting and on-the-ground production. You will track speaking and sponsorship opportunities, manage relationships with external organizers, run post-event post-mortems tied to objectives, and support internal events and offsites. You will coordinate closely with Growth, BD, leadership, and ops to ensure events translate into measurable pipeline and partnerships.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in event management
- At least 3 years of experience in the crypto or web3 space
- Proven track record running demand gen events hosted experiences and large scale productions end to end
- Portfolio of events recaps or aftermovies to show
- Strong project management skills across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to define event objectives drive follow up and tie outcomes to pipeline
- Comfortable operating with partial information in high ambiguity environments
- Clear and crisp asynchronous communication across time zones
- Ownership and autonomy
Responsibilities
- Own the events calendar end to end
- Decide which conferences to attend and coordinate team participation
- Plan and run hosted experiences including venue production merch and logistics
- Lead development of Morpho-owned conferences including concept format programming and production
- Track speaking and sponsorship opportunities and manage external organizer relationships
- Manage event-related merch and gifting in coordination with marketing
- Run post-event post-mortems tied to objectives and outcomes
- Support internal events and offsites alongside the ops team
