About the Role

You will safely handle energetic materials, prepare and support rocket motor tests, commission facility equipment, and operate instrumentation and data-acquisition systems. You will maintain production and safety documentation, inspect hardware, support manufacturing activities, troubleshoot controls, and comply with explosive-safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of qualifying hands-on technical experience, or an associate degree or technical training plus 3 years of qualifying experience
  • Experience safely handling energetic materials, propellants, pyrotechnics, or explosives
  • Experience with facility commissioning, equipment startup, or industrial facility activation
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical procedures
  • Understanding of explosive safety and DoD, OSHA, and ATF regulations
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools and assembly techniques
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Age 21 or older
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and state and federal background checks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a high-hazard industrial environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, store, and handle energetic materials safely
  • Maintain energetic-material inventory, usage, disposal, and inspection records
  • Prepare test facilities, motor assemblies, test articles, and instrumentation
  • Support rocket motor static-fire and functional testing
  • Collect, record, and review test data and flag anomalies
  • Support facility activation and equipment commissioning
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, alignment, connection, and checkout
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate instrumentation and data-acquisition systems
  • Support PLC-controlled systems, automated test stands, and SCADA controls
  • Maintain production records, batch records, and quality documentation
  • Participate in safety activities and report unsafe conditions
  • Travel up to 10% within the continental United States
