About the Role
Hands-on engineering leadership role combining people management, technical direction, architecture, coding, mentoring, hiring, and delivery ownership for protocol infrastructure.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience including 2+ years in technical management
- Experience with Rust, EVM-compatible chains, and L2 technologies
- Strong systems programming or full stack development experience
- Experience with open source projects or public developer tools
- Experience leading projects from architecture through deployment
- Experience with crypto, distributed systems, or infrastructure focused on reliability and performance
- Understanding of developer experience and clear documentation
- Interest in small, mission-driven teams building foundational infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team working on core infrastructure and protocol components
- Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with product, protocol, and infrastructure teams on roadmap priorities
- Participate in architecture design and technical planning
- Coach engineers and lead performance reviews
- Hire and onboard engineers
- Keep the team focused, unblocked, and shipping high-impact work
