About the Role

You will lead and mentor Forward Deployed Engineers while remaining hands-on with strategic product initiatives and customer engagements. You will guide LLM solution design, deployment, monitoring, and optimization, translate objectives into specifications and proofs of concept, and coordinate cross-functional delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ year of leadership or mentorship experience
• Python programming skills
• Production experience building or optimizing ML inference systems
• Experience with LLMs, inference optimization, or serving frameworks
• Familiarity with observability, profiling, and cost/performance tradeoffs in production ML systems
• Communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Forward Deployed Engineers
• Set goals and ensure delivery across customer-facing LLM projects
• Align team priorities with customer and organizational goals
• Drive strategic product initiatives and customer engagements
• Develop production software systems and product features
• Design, implement, deploy, and monitor customer solutions
• Turn objectives into specifications and proofs of concept
• Optimize AI/ML projects
• Own products and customer projects end-to-end
