About the Role
You will lead the Application Platform pod and own its roadmap, API gateway, authentication, API governance, and operational maturity. You will review designs, write and ship code, manage on-call and incidents, coordinate security reviews, and hire and develop engineers.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Application Platform pod
- Own the platform roadmap, standards, and on-call posture
- Own API gateway routing, plugins, rate limiting, mTLS, HMAC, and rollout strategy
- Own authentication and session security
- Own API standards, governance, versioning, and identifiers
- Coordinate predictable security reviews
- Review designs and ship code
- Lead incident command, audit logging, alerting, and deployment hygiene
- Hire and develop engineers
