About the Role

You will expand energy infrastructure by integrating large-load facilities into the electric grid. You will perform grid integration and power flow studies, support interconnection applications, conduct load deliverability studies, verify technical data, draft technical specifications, and advise business development teams on grid integration proposals.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Power Systems with 2+ years of experience or bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Power Systems
  • Working knowledge of ERCOT, SPP, or MISO interconnection procedures and transmission planning
  • Working knowledge of TARA, PSS/e, and Sugar
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and report writing skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform and support grid integration studies for large loads
  • Run technical power flow studies
  • Support interconnection application submissions
  • Verify technical data at various project stages
  • Perform load deliverability studies in ERCOT, SPP, or MISO
  • Work with internal teams to understand project needs
  • Draft technical specifications
  • Support business development proposals related to grid integration
  • Stay current on industry trends
  • Attend conferences and travel as required
