About the Role
You will inspect, catalog, and dismantle computer servers and IT hardware using appropriate tools and personal protective equipment. You will identify reusable and recyclable components, prepare materials for downstream recycling, maintain inventory records, track environmental metrics, and support improvements to recycling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, catalog, and dismantle server equipment and IT hardware safely.
- Identify reusable and recyclable hardware components.
- Separate metals, wiring, circuit boards, processors, RAM, power supplies, and other material streams.
- Prepare electronic components containing recoverable precious metals for shipment to downstream recyclers.
- Weigh, record, and maintain inventory logs for recovered materials, reusable parts, and residual waste.
- Track environmental performance metrics.
- Support improvements to standard operating procedures for reuse and recycling efficiency.
