About the Role
You will install, configure, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and low-voltage systems. You will commission cabling, security, surveillance, and access-control equipment; document completed work; coordinate installations; and ensure work complies with applicable safety and electrical standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on electrical-systems experience in an industrial, commercial, or field-service environment
- Experience with at least one low-voltage system type: IP video/VMS, access control, intrusion alarms, structured cabling, or AV systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and P&IDs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as required
- Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain required export authorizations
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems
- Install conduit and apply lockout/tagout and arc-flash safety practices
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using test equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance and record it in CMMS
- Install, terminate, test, and commission low-voltage cabling and equipment
- Configure control panels, IP cameras, VMS platforms, and access-control systems
- Document work, calibration records, maintenance logs, and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and technicians
- Provide technical guidance to field crews and junior technicians
