About the Role
You will design, build, and validate test systems for critical UAV electrical systems. You will develop interface PCBs and custom fixtures, automate test sequences with Python, integrate instrumentation and harnessing, and support design reviews to improve hardware testability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles
- Experience in multidisciplinary hardware projects
- Track record of ownership, innovation, and delivery in complex technical environments
- Ability to obtain an S//SAR security clearance is desired
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for automation is preferred
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCAD, or Eagle is preferred
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, or CATIA is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and own critical UAV electrical test systems from concept through validation
- Work across power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration
- Develop interface PCBs for test stands and devices under test
- Build automated test fixtures using PCBAs, test equipment, and harnessing
- Automate test sequences using Python
- Participate in design reviews and advocate for hardware testability
- Adapt test solutions in a fast-moving engineering environment
