About the Role
You will design and own test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems from concept through validation. You will develop PCBs, fixtures, and automated Python test sequences; integrate power, RF, communications, and mechanical systems; and advocate for improvements that make hardware easier to test.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, equivalent hands-on experience, or expected graduation in 2026
- Foundation in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles
- Experience in multidisciplinary hardware projects
- Track record of ownership, innovation, and delivering results in complex technical environments
Responsibilities
- Design and own test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems
- Work across power electronics, RF, communications, and system integration
- Develop PCBs for test stand and device-under-test interfaces
- Build automated test fixtures using relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing
- Automate test sequences using Python
- Participate in design reviews and advocate for testability improvements
- Adapt and innovate in a fast-moving engineering environment
