About the Role
You will design electrical schematics and boards from concept through production for automotive and related applications. You will guide PCB layout, create component diagrams, work with fabrication vendors, collaborate on platform bring-up, execute test plans, and document results.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- At least 2 years of hands-on hardware design experience
- Knowledge of analog, power, digital design, and interfaces
- Proficiency in schematic capture and layout
- Experience with lab tools including power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing, product delivery, testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Technical writing skills
- Experience using modern AI tools, vibe coding, and creating agents and skills
Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics from concept to production
- Design boards using digital and automotive interfaces
- Guide and oversee PCB layout
- Create component block diagrams and work with PCB and PCBA vendors
- Collaborate on platform bring-up and validation
- Develop and execute test plans
- Document test results
- Evaluate new technologies and industry practices
