Director of Product Marketing

About the Role

You will define product marketing strategy and positioning for new consumer finance experiences, translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear consumer-friendly messages, and drive measurable adoption, engagement, retention, and monetization. You will partner closely with Product, Growth, Analytics, and Engineering to shape launch strategy and influence cross-functional decisions. You will establish product marketing frameworks and systems, coach and develop team members, and balance hands-on execution with building scalable processes. You will also ensure product messaging resonates across diverse global markets and monitor market and fintech trends to inform GTM strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing consumer marketing or related roles
  • Proven experience leading product marketing for consumer-facing financial or transactional products
  • Ability to define strategy independently and execute hands-on
  • Strong cross-functional credibility with Product Growth and Engineering
  • Experience operating in ambiguity and building GTM strategies in undefined categories
  • Experience at a fintech neobank or consumer platform with embedded financial features (strongly preferred)
  • Exposure to international or emerging markets (strongly preferred)
  • Experience repositioning a product into a broader platform or ecosystem (strongly preferred)
  • Background in customer insight user research or data-informed marketing strategy (strongly preferred)
  • No prior crypto or web3 experience required
