About the Role
You will lead global media relations, advise senior leaders on external communications, and prepare executives for media opportunities and events. You will manage inbound opportunities, develop narratives, build journalist relationships, plan communications around major company moments, handle sensitive situations, and establish scalable media-response processes.
Requirements
- Significant media relations, corporate communications, or external communications experience in technology or infrastructure
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or complex organizations
- Experience working with senior executives
- Experience handling sensitive or high-pressure communications
- A media network in technology, AI, or infrastructure
- Written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the global media relations strategy
- Advise senior leadership on external communications and media engagement
- Prepare executives for media interactions, speaking engagements, and events
- Manage and prioritize inbound media opportunities
- Develop narratives for AI infrastructure
- Build relationships with journalists, editors, and industry influencers
- Lead messaging and communications planning for launches, announcements, and milestones
- Provide guidance during sensitive communications situations
- Establish media handling, briefing, and response processes
- Support event strategy and vet engagement opportunities
