About the Role

You will set the long-term vision and multi-year roadmaps for platform security and cloud security governance. You will lead engineering managers and senior leaders, establish security standards, oversee risk reduction, and guide identity, fleet, hardware, cloud, and zero-trust security initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive security engineering experience
5+ years leading second-line management structures or multi-team security organizations
Experience at hyperscale cloud providers or infrastructure-intensive platforms
Experience hiring, developing, and mentoring engineering managers
Experience setting multi-year talent and resource-allocation strategies
Architectural knowledge of Linux, hypervisors, container orchestration, IAM, PKI, workload identity, and hardware or network primitives
In-person presence in the San Francisco Bay Area

Responsibilities

Design and scale infrastructure security engineering domains
Hire, mentor, and empower engineering managers and senior leaders
Own multi-year roadmaps, domain metrics, and risk-reduction goals
Set long-term security architecture vision and governance
Define identity, access, secrets, and PKI strategy
Drive fleet security sensor and kernel-protection strategy
Establish hardware, firmware, and supply-chain security governance
Establish cloud control-plane security governance
Champion zero-trust and least-privilege access models
Oversee mitigation of architectural risks and isolation boundaries
