About the Role

You will own global Corporate Actions across U.S. and international markets. You will oversee daily production, supervisory controls, reconciliations, exception management, incident resolution, system synchronization, automation, and team performance while building a scalable operating model across markets and financial infrastructures.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Corporate Actions experience in a broker-dealer, clearing firm, custodian, bank, or comparable financial institution
  • Leadership experience managing a Corporate Actions or securities operations function
  • Deep knowledge of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. market infrastructure including DTCC and DTC processes
  • International Corporate Actions experience across multiple markets and local conventions
  • Understanding of Corporate Actions flows through books and records, positions, trading systems, margin, and customer balances
  • Experience in retail brokerage or clearing environments
  • Experience designing maker-checker controls, reconciliations, exception management, and operational risk frameworks
  • Experience owning high-risk production functions
  • Strong incident-management and remediation experience
  • Ability to challenge control design and hold teams accountable
  • Ability to translate operational risk into scalable system requirements
  • Clear communication with leadership, auditors, regulators, custodians, and technical teams
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced technology-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead Corporate Actions across mandatory and voluntary events
  • Establish maker-checker controls, reconciliations, escalation thresholds, and supervisory evidence
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer-impacting events
  • Own incident containment, root cause analysis, remediation, and permanent improvements
  • Partner with Security Master, Trading, Ledger, Product, Engineering, and Operations
  • Drive automation, observability, reconciliation, and exception-management tooling
  • Build a common global operating model across markets, custodians, currencies, and tax regimes
  • Develop team expertise and succession coverage
  • Oversee entitlement booking, retries, reversals, manual adjustments, and exceptions
  • Ensure bookings synchronize across operational and customer-facing systems
  • Prevent trading against incorrect post-event positions, symbols, or quantities
  • Require post-processing reconciliation with authoritative external sources
