About the Role
You will provide strategic and operational leadership for a gas turbine power plant. You will oversee round-the-clock operations, maintenance, commissioning, construction, compliance, budgets, reliability, and multidisciplinary personnel supporting data center power delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or another engineering discipline
- 8+ years of experience in power generation operations, plant management, or related industrial or aerospace operations
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing operators, technicians, and engineers
- Experience operating or managing gas turbine power plants
- Ability to support operations and construction outside normal business hours
- Must be based at the Memphis, Tennessee site
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Ability to work in industrial and outdoor environments
Responsibilities
- Lead power plant operations, maintenance, commissioning, construction, and capacity expansion
- Own reliable electrical-power delivery to data center sites
- Lead operators, technicians, engineers, contractors, and support staff
- Oversee plant performance, testing, commissioning, and data center integration
- Develop operations and maintenance strategies
- Manage construction and phased capacity expansions
- Ensure environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Manage budgets, fuel, operations and maintenance, capital projects, and operating plans
- Improve plant availability, heat rate, emissions, cost, safety, and operational processes
- Serve as site representative to the community, regulators, and stakeholders
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent and oversee staffing and contractors
