About the Role
You will lead institutional product strategy and commercialization for Japanese clients across equity and fixed-income ETFs. You will provide investment and portfolio insights, create client content, shape franchise priorities, lead launches and partnerships, assess growth opportunities, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and influence senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience in asset management, product strategy, investment advisory, or a related investment discipline.
- Knowledge of ETFs and institutional investing.
- Knowledge of equity and fixed-income investment strategies, including active and index approaches.
- Ability to translate investment expertise into commercial strategies and client propositions.
- Strategic and analytical capabilities.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Communication, relationship management, and stakeholder influencing skills.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Generative AI tools and intelligent agents.
Responsibilities
- Lead Institutional Product Strategy for iShares Japan.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies across equity and fixed-income ETFs.
- Provide investment expertise, portfolio construction insights, competitive analysis, and product positioning.
- Develop thought leadership, market insights, and educational content.
- Shape franchise priorities and contribute to strategic planning and business performance reviews.
- Lead product launches, fundraising campaigns, distribution partnerships, and platform enhancements.
- Identify and evaluate growth opportunities.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution and drive initiatives through implementation.
- Build relationships across the organization and influence senior stakeholders.
