About the Role

You will provide independent oversight of fraud and operational functions. You will assess fraud-risk processes and controls, identify gaps, coordinate incident remediation, develop risk metrics and reporting, and advise on new products, services, and business projects.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of fraud management or operational risk management experience in complex financial services institutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of fraud-risk threats and prevention, detection, surveillance, and response controls.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and developing remediation plans.
  • Knowledge of operational risk management, control validation, incident management, key risk indicators, and risk governance.
  • Project management skills preferred.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent risk oversight and challenge to fraud and operational functions.
  • Conduct fraud-risk assessments of processes and controls.
  • Identify control gaps and recommend enhancements.
  • Coordinate fraud-risk incident management and end-to-end remediation.
  • Develop fraud-risk metrics, key risk indicators, risk appetite, taxonomies, and reporting.
  • Provide fraud-risk advisory support for new products, services, and business projects.
