About the Role
You will define cybersecurity strategy architecture and governance across corporate IT mining operations data centers cloud and AI environments. You will establish controls build security operations lead incident response manage identity and access security vendors and budgets and grow internal security capabilities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive cybersecurity or information security experience.
- 3+ years in a security leadership or director role.
- Experience at a publicly traded company in a SOX environment is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
- Master's degree or security certifications such as CISSP CISM CCSP or GIAC are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security architecture cloud and SaaS security IAM network security endpoint security and OT security.
- Hands-on experience owning SOC 2 NIST CSF ISO 27001 SOX ITGC and PCI compliance frameworks and audits.
- Proven delivery of SIEM/SOC EDR vulnerability management incident response and IAM programs.
- Experience securing platform integrations APIs CI/CD pipelines and cloud and data architecture.
- Experience with security budgeting vendor or MSSP negotiation and transitioning capabilities in-house.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder skills through board level.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end cybersecurity strategy roadmap and security architecture.
- Establish the enterprise security control framework and GRC program.
- Design defense-in-depth architecture for network segmentation IAM endpoints cloud and OT systems.
- Build and lead security operations including threat detection monitoring incident response and vulnerability management.
- Own identity and access governance including privileged access MFA SSO least privilege and access reviews.
- Lead incident response and breach management from preparation through post-incident review.
- Manage the security vendor ecosystem budget tooling strategy and platform selection.
- Establish security awareness and anti-phishing programs.
- Partner with Software Networking Data Engineering Business Intelligence and Applied AI leaders to secure technology and data.
- Recruit mentor and grow the internal security team.
