About the Role

You will help develop and maintain digital twins for data-lab environments. You will create accurate 3D models, organize engineering data into OpenUSD assets, integrate facilities information, validate models against technical records and physical environments, document your work, test scenes, and communicate progress and issues.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in a related engineering or computer science field
  • Foundation in engineering principles
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, or technical documentation
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize work, follow processes, learn unfamiliar software, and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of digital twins using NVIDIA Omniverse and OpenUSD
  • Create accurate 3D representations of lab spaces, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Convert and organize engineering and 3D data into reusable OpenUSD assets
  • Integrate mechanical, electrical, and facilities information into digital twin models
  • Compare models with drawings, records, and physical environments to identify discrepancies
  • Document assets, modeling decisions, data sources, and working methods
  • Test digital twin scenes and assets and help resolve issues
  • Communicate progress, questions, technical challenges, and workflow improvements
