About the Role
Assist the development team in building and operating infrastructure that supports production sequencer software and test networks. Monitor and manage cloud environments, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and develop tooling for deployment and operations using containers, Terraform, and Linux.
Requirements
- Experience working with containers in hosted environments
- Experience with Terraform or other declarative cloud operations technologies
- Comfort working in the Linux command line
- Preferred: Experience with Ansible
- Preferred: Experience with AWS container orchestration
- Preferred: Experience with Docker
- Preferred: Experience with GitHub Actions
- Preferred: Experience with Nix
- Preferred: Experience with Rust
- Preferred: Experience with Terraform
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Assist with CI/CD pipelines and code management
- Develop and maintain deployment tooling for services
- Operate and troubleshoot containerized workloads
- Automate infrastructure with declarative tools such as Terraform
