About the Role
You will lead the developer-facing aspects of API and product launches. You will create technical content, sample code, and integration guides; grow developer communities through events and hackathons; improve onboarding and documentation; gather product feedback; and measure developer engagement. You will collaborate in both Japanese and English.
Requirements
- 4+ years of developer relations, developer marketing, or technical product marketing experience for an API, SDK, or developer platform
- Ability to call APIs, read and modify sample code, and write trusted technical content
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents or LLM APIs in real projects
- Deep technical understanding of LLMs and generative AI
- Experience building developer communities in person and online
- Ability to present on stage in English or Japanese
- Ability to autonomously drive initiatives in a fast-paced startup environment
- Native or professional fluency in Japanese and English
- Experience with open-source communities or model hubs is preferred
- A recognized public footprint through talks, posts, or repositories is preferred
- Submit a CV and cover letter in English
Responsibilities
- Lead developer awareness and launch momentum through technical blog posts, sample code, integration guides, and developer-facing launch content
- Build and grow the developer community through hackathons, events, developer channels, forums, platform relationships, and user-generated content
- Improve developer onboarding, getting-started documentation, and support experiences, and feed insights into the product roadmap
- Run developer-facing API and product launches, including early-access programs and showcase projects
- Measure signups, active developers, developer-tool usage, event participation, and content reach
- Drive collaboration across global developer communities in Japanese and English
