About the Role
You will own and evolve the Waypoint Figma library, including component structure, variants, properties, tokens, and documentation. You will build and maintain core component packages, keep design tokens synchronized with CSS custom properties and Tailwind configuration, and improve the tooling and workflows that connect Figma and code. You will partner with designers and engineers to turn patterns into reusable components, document their use, contribute to system architecture decisions, and structure the system so it can be understood by AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the Waypoint Figma library
- Build and maintain core Waypoint components
- Keep Figma design tokens synchronized with CSS custom properties and Tailwind configuration
- Translate new design patterns into system components
- Improve workflows and tooling that connect Figma and code
- Write documentation and usage guidance
- Contribute to design-system architecture decisions
- Structure components, tokens, and patterns for AI systems
