About the Role
You will deliver automation systems to customers from solution design through implementation and production deployment. You will commission hardware, software, controls, and networks on site, manage deployment work, troubleshoot issues, support acceptance testing, train customers, and perform maintenance and upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical field
- Experience with industrial robot controllers such as FANUC or Yaskawa
- Knowledge of mechanical and software diagnostic tools
- Linux experience
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel 75-100% of each month
Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site deployment operations
- Commission robotic hardware, software, controls, and networking
- Manage on-site projects, resources, priorities, and client communications
- Assess customer operations and workflows
- Log and troubleshoot site issues
- Ensure performance requirements are met before site acceptance testing and customer training
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Travel extensively for deployments
