About the Role
You will manage daily physical security operations at the data centre. You will oversee the security-services contract, reception and visitor controls, access systems, patrols, inspections, incident response, documentation, and audit support.
Requirements
- Experience managing contract security teams
- Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure
- Knowledge of physical security systems
- Experience managing visitors and customer security requirements
- Strong leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Manage all physical security operations at the data centre
- Maintain security standards and compliance with site procedures
- Manage the Securitas security contract and supervise security officers
- Oversee reception security, visitor registration, identity verification, escorts, and records
- Coordinate customer, contractor, VIP, and government visits securely
- Maintain CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security
- Coordinate responses to on-site incidents and liaise with emergency services
- Investigate physical security events and produce incident reports
- Support ISO 27001, SOC 2, and customer security audits
- Maintain site security documentation
