About the Role
You'll join a multicultural team of visionaries and industry rebels working to disrupt the traditional finance industry at MoneyLion. This is a 6-month internship starting June 2026 through December 2026, open only to Malaysians, with final year students preferred. You'll dig into how users interact with our products, uncover new insights from data, and help shape better product decisions. You'll build dashboards to track key metrics, support day-to-day operations within the data science team, and get hands-on experience prototyping and exploring new machine learning initiatives. You'll also communicate your findings clearly to stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a technical degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, mathematics, or actuarial science
- Proficient in either R, Python, Matlab or other analytics/data mining packages
- Experience in machine learning, predictive analytics and statistical modelling, in academic and/or industry settings
- Fast learner with an ability to problem-solve independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses to understand how users interact with products and how to improve them
- Discover new insights and understanding of business performance based on data
- Develop dashboards to track relevant metrics
- Assist with regular maintenance and BAU operations within the data science team
- Assist with prototyping and exploring new machine learning initiatives
- Communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
