About the Role
You will define trusted metrics and datasets, build dashboards and recurring reporting, investigate business drivers and data quality, and turn ambiguous business questions into recommendations. You will support forecasting and planning, improve data usability with engineering partners, and communicate findings to decision-makers.
Requirements
- SQL and analytical data-modeling skills
- Experience turning large, complex datasets into reliable analyses and reusable data products
- Ability to reason about metrics, cohorts, denominators, measurement changes, and uncertainty
- Experience building business dashboards or recurring reporting
- Business judgment and ability to scope ambiguous problems independently
- Ability to communicate technical findings to Finance, data scientists, engineers, and business partners
- Python or a comparable analytical tool
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain trusted metrics and analytical datasets
- Build automated dashboards and recurring reporting
- Explain business-result movements and variances by examining underlying drivers and data quality
- Translate business questions into structured analyses and recommendations
- Provide inputs, driver analyses, and scenario assumptions for forecasts and long-range plans
- Improve data quality and usability with Data Engineering
- Develop reusable analytical models and workflows
- Communicate findings and assess whether analyses improved decisions
