About the Role
You will design and operate scalable data pipelines, models, and datasets across infrastructure, platform, and business systems. You will build Palantir Foundry data products, enable self-service analytics, implement quality and governance controls, and own projects from design through production.
Requirements
- Hands-on Palantir Foundry experience
- Experience with ontology modeling, pipeline development, API integration, and data platform design
- Python proficiency
- Experience with Spark, PySpark, Dask, or pandas
- Experience with REST, GraphQL, and Foundry Action APIs
- Experience with Git workflows, code review, version control, and CI/CD
- Ability to work in ambiguous early-stage environments
- Ability to communicate data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines
- Define data models and schemas
- Clean, transform, and structure data
- Implement Foundry permissioning, access management, and security
- Create trusted datasets and metrics
- Enable self-service analytics through data contracts, documentation, and semantic layers
- Build data products for capacity planning, cost optimization, reliability analysis, and customer reporting
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting
- Establish data lineage, versioning, access control, and governance
- Own projects from design through production and iteration
