About the Role
Build and scale reliable, efficient data pipelines from ingestion through delivery; establish dbt practices, data standards, and quality controls; create self-service tools and documentation; and develop AI agents that answer data questions for cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience formalising and scaling data pipelines, ideally as an early data engineer on a growing team.
- Expert knowledge of dbt.
- Proficiency with Python, SQL, BI tools, and the modern data stack.
- Ability to simplify complex data into clear structures.
- Ability to understand varied stakeholder requirements and build generalised solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own and streamline data pipelines from ingestion to delivery, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain dbt best practices, data standards, and quality controls.
- Build self-service tooling and write documentation for cross-functional teams.
- Create AI agents to answer data questions.
